Objectives - Students will:

Identify the rights granted by the Bill of Rights and key later amendments.

Describe how the protection of rights has expanded over time. Categorize rights in the Bill of Rights as:

individual freedoms,

protection from government power,

or rights of the accused.

What is Due This Week:

1. The Bill of Rights hand out on the Youtube Video about a world WITHOUT a Bill of Rights - Due Monday ( after we finish the movie)

2. Students will MEMORIZE the First Amendment and will recite in class by on Thursday or Friday

2. 3-Fold Chart (made with construction paper) of the Three Branches of Government Will be entered into gradebook Today

3. Three Branches WebQuest Due By Wednesday Was Due Last Friday
